Green$eeds

chives seed collection (800x600)

Last year we partnered with a few awesome organizations to help them raise needed funds. The National Organic Coalition, Rosendale Community Theater, GreenThumb and other groups all received a percentage of our online holiday sales. We donated over $2500 to groups through our Green$eeds program last year.

These groups publicized their seedy fundraisers through membership email lists, advertising, fliers, announcements at events, and word of mouth.

This year we're extending this opportunity to groups and not-for-profits that are involved in the following efforts:

1. Organics: examples: Agriculture, Food, Education, CSAs, more...

2. Gardening: examples: School Gardens, Community Gardens, Garden Clubs, more...

3. Sustainable Communities: examples: Libraries, Arts Organizations, Farmers Markets, Social Services, Food Banks, more...

If your organization fits into one of these general categories, fill out the form and apply to receive your Green$eeds Code. Once you have your code you can begin sharing it with your members and community at large. Each time someone makes a purchase on seedlibrary.org and enters your organization's code at check out, we'll donate 10% of that sale back to your group! You also have the option of getting bookmarks to hand out which have your fundraising code on them.

Green$eed codes are activated after your application is reviewed and approved and are good through December 31st 2013.

We'll have additional fundraising programs starting in 2014.

If you'd like to participate, please apply here.
