We sell seeds, plants, soils, fertilizers, pest control and tools for small-scale urban kitchen gardens as well as supplies for chicken-keeping, cheese-making, fermentation, and canning. We believe your backyard garden and homestead can be beautiful, edible and sustainable, so we select our products with an eye for their practical use as well as their quality and beauty.
Favorite Varieties from Hudson Valley Seed Library: The Art Packs are our favorite seeds from Hudson Valley Seed Library! They are incredibly beautiful and really stand out in the store, especially as unique gifts and stocking stuffers during the holidays. Lacy Phacelia, Milkweed, Good Bug Blooms and Gift Zinnia have been wonderful additions to our seeds for pollinators.
What is your favorite garden related activity: I've always loved seed-starting. Choosing the seeds, then starting them indoors and watching the little green plants grow while it's still cold and snowy in Minnesota is a joy.
