Generous Garden Giveaway(s)!

by Ken Greene

Part of being a gardener is being generous. We sow generously, amend the soil generously, stretch deer fencing generously, and share zucchinis very generously. Our gardening friends are equally generous.

Here are some free garden giveaways we thought you all would like.

Win a free Seed Library Gift Membership plus $50 Gift Card!

Our friends at Horticulture Magazine generously supported our Art of the Heirloom exhibition this year. Without their support we would not have been able to bring the original works to so many different venues. The show is even heading to the Chicago Botanic Garden next! The good folks at the magazine also published a beautiful spread all about the Seed Library. Check out HortMag's giveaway where you have a bunch of chances to win a Seed Library Gift Membership plus $50 gift certificate to use on!

Enter their seedy giveaway here from now through May 12th.

Win Margaret Roach's new book, The Back Yard Parables plus a Waterproof Garden Journal!

I'm almost done reading Margaret Roach's new book, The Backyard Parables. Everyone here at the Seed Library loves her blog, A Way to Garden, and this book is a moving and informative journey through the seasons in her home and gardens in Copake, NY. I'll be finishing the book while I'm away at the Chicago Antique and Garden Fair. When I'm done I'll be giving away a copy of the book along with a cool waterproof garden journal so you can pen your own garden parables. Keep an eye out, I'll post the giveaway on our blog and Facebook page.

To enter all you need to do is post a comment with the title of your favorite gardening, food, food politics, farming, or seed related book on this blog post. Fiction or non-fiction!

Margaret will also be doing a giveaway of her own with our seeds. We'll post on our Facebook page when Margaret posts the giveaway on A Way to Garden.
