King Harry Potato
If you have pests, grow this potato.
King Harry is a unique russet type potato that has made waves in the natural and organic growing arenas for its unusual pest-resistant characteristics. We have Cornell University to thank for this variety, derived from a wild-type species from Bolivia. King Harry's sticky leaf hairs naturally deter potato leafhoppers, aphids, flea beetles, and potato tuber moths. It also offers some resistance to the Colorado potato beetle. Sourced through Tucker Farms, a century-old family-owned and operated potato farm in Upstate New York. Potatoes ship from mid-April through early May. See below for more shipping details.
