Artist Frances Gaffney's large watercolor painting depicts a celestial Phacelia flower head hovering over a Hudson Valley farm covered in blooms. It reaches out in all directions, beckoning bees, healing the land and eventually fading into the sky.
About the Artist: Frances divides her time between living and working on a houseboat, on the Hudson River in New York City, and at a camp in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. She has been painting since 1974. After attending the Fashion Institute of Technology she worked in New York as a textile designer; both as a free-lance artist and as a full-time print designer in a commercial studio.

The paper dimensions of this print are 11x14. We print all of our pieces on archival fine art papers using archival inks to ensure they will last as contemporary heirloom art. We recommend making sure there is space between the glass and print. You can do this by matting the print or you can skip the mat and have a spacer put in the frame.
