Also known as African Pearl Daisy, from South Africa. A vigorous, long-stemmed flower with grey foliage and white flowers with shimmery blue centers. This little known flower is gaining ground as a dependable cut flower. Great in borders.
Direct sow in well-prepared soil in early spring by casting seeds on soil surface. Agitate the soil to keep them in place. Alternately, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost and transplant outdoors when seedlings are a few inches high. Daisies prefer partial shade and cooler temperatures.
