The yellow tipped brush in this oil painting by Sarah Paolucci simultaneously paints and pollinates, suggesting that the process of hand-pollinating to create new varieties is in itself an art form: a classical process that requires a creative hand.
About the Artist: Sarah lives in Brooklyn and works with the creative team at Tinybop during the day and draw pictures and stories at night. She studied literature and film at Haverford college and earned an M.F.A in at the Illustration Practice Program at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) in Baltimore. Sarah also lived out of her van for a year! These were all great experiences and help her make art and create stories.
