Wonderful in border plantings, rock gardens and containers, karataviense has 5" globes of pinkish-white florets and broad, sea-green leaves. Alliums are deer, rabbit and rodent resistant.

Alliums do best in full sun to partial shade. They require a well-drained soil. Water in well after planting, beyond that normal rainfall should be sufficient.
Allium bulbs should be planted 1-2 times as deep as the diameter of the bulb.
Bulbs should be kept cool until ready to plant; and planted in fall at least a month before the ground freezes.
