Morning glories give their gifts to those who ramble outside while others are sleeping, those who yearn for fresh air at unconventional hours. Most morning glories open their luminous blooms in the early hours, trumpeting the arrival of the day. Others bloom only at night, their white flowers a beacon for hungry nighttime pollinators and inquisitive gardeners. They don't ask for much in return: just moderate fertility and something around which to stealthily curl their tendrils.
