We Love Working with Artists

Thank you for your interest in our annual Call for Art. Here at the Hudson Valley Seed Co, we love working with a diverse range of artists to bring seed stories to life. A compelling visual design has the power to illuminate and deepen our connection to the culture, history, and beauty of seeds. 

We have a profound respect for the work artists do, and we love how our seed packs can be a vehicle for sharing original, contemporary artwork. 

Our general Call for Art continues throughout the year, and we review all submissions every March. We consider all submissions for our Art Packs, in addition to our other artful offerings, such as, Planting Guide Posters, Wildflower Seed Shakers, Gift Boxes, Note Cards, and Pillows. We also produce Fine Art Prints and Posters, including signed limited edition prints.

Applications are submitted by completing the form below. Before completing the form, please review our guidelines for information on who can apply (note: US-based artists only); which mediums we accept; and what you'll receive if we commission your artwork (payment plus many perks!).

We review all entries and get back to all applicants each year by mid-Spring. If you are selected to be a semi-finalist, we will follow up with you about what comes next in the process, depending on the project. Before final approval, we ask selected artists to create a rough sketch for each project.
