Anise-flavored herb with pollinator-attracting flower stalks.
This pungent herb is a bulked-up version of anise hyssop, with a flavor that is sweeter and more delicate. Pretty plants with big spikes of lavender blooms which attract pollinators and make striking cut flowers. Known as baechohyang or banga in South Korea, this plant is added to stews and pancakes.
