Learn how to start flower seeds for your summer cutting garden. Seasoned flower farmer Corinne Hansch of Lovin' Mama Farm and Real Organic Project will share her top 20 must-grow cut flowers and tricks for germinating from seed.  Germinating flowers is similar to vegetables, but there are few important differences that we will discuss. Gain confidence in your ability to start your own annual and perennial cut flower seedlings. Part lecture, part hands-on workshop, you’ll go home with a paperpot strip of flower seeds to care for and the HVSC Bloom Calendar.

Dress for gardening. 

This class is appropriate for beginner to advanced growers. For novices, we recommend taking our Seed Starting workshop before the Flower workshop.
