An unusual fringed variety with deep pink-purple petals and delicately frayed edges. Grape-colored centers contrast beautifully with the pale petal tips of these substantial blooms. This mid-spring variety is tall–reaching heights of 24”. Prefers full to partial sun.

Tulips do best in full sun in northern areas, but will tolerate light shade in hotter areas. They require a well-drained soil, with an ideal pH of 6.0 to 6.5. Water in well after planting, beyond that normal rainfall should be sufficient. Tulip bulbs should be kept cool until ready to plant; and planted in fall at least a month before the ground freezes. Follow the recommended planting depth per variety.
