Kniola's Purple Morning Glory
Certified Organic
Ipomoea purpurea
This rare morning glory is great for shorter seasons.
This rare heirloom variety has been stewarded by one of our seed growers, Roberta Bailey of Seven Tree Farm, since the early nineties. Unlike other morning glories, Kniola's starts flowering soon, when vines are only 2 feet in length, and grows to 6-9 feet in length over the season. Foliage is deep green and smaller too, the leaves only reach 2-3 inches in length. Deep purple flowers reveal a magenta star on the interior when they open. A very attractive, easy to grow variety! Our's self sows in Ken's garden year after year, but never seems weedy.
