Essential nutrients derived from plant materials and natural minerals.
Worm Castings contain rich microbiological colonies that help fight soil-borne plant diseases and repel insects. Worm castings are water-soluble allowing plants to quickly and easily absorb essential nutrients and trace minerals. Side dress your container plantings and seedlings with this rich, high quality compost produced by our friends and neighbors at Hudson Soil Co. Compost supplies a variety of plant nutrients, improves water retention and distribution through light soils, and makes heavy soils more permeable and aerated for healthy root systems. Sourced locally through a "table to farm" approach led by Community Compost, the compost is cured and finished right next door to our seed farm in Kerhonkson, NY.
