Farm Minute: Getting Wet

by Ken Greene

Here's another one of Ken's Farm Minute videos. These are slice of life (and in this case slice of tomato) moments of life on our seed farm.

We used to cut, scoop, and squeeze each and every tomato individually but Dominic, from Moon in the Pond Farm changed our lives. He loaned us a low tech wet processing machine. Not sure you can buy these anymore. Stu set it up on blocks and got it working. Now we can process tomatoes, peppers, and other wet seeded crops more quickly. Thanks Dominic!

Of course, for home garden seed saving you don't need anything like this. We'll post soon on saving tomato seeds with everyday things you have around the house.
