Abundant, luminescent blooms.
Sir Cedric Morris was a 20th-century British artist who not only painted an array of portraits and still-lifes but also practiced horticultural artistry, breeding new varieties of irises and poppies. For this poppy, he wanted to create a pastel palette of dusty pinks, muted purples, and blushed whites, all with a shell-like luster. The overall impression of a field of these poppies is that of an artist's palette, one on which the colors have been gently but unthoroughly mixed before being applied to the canvas.
Contains a range of colors including white, pink, maroon, and red.

Winter sowed these poppies in late January and tried to be patient... Finally some gorgeous iridescent blooms coming up and blossoming in June. Incredible petal color and texture. Really happy with these and the unique color they bring to my rock/pollinator garden.
"Mother of Pearl Poppy": The photo is of the very first bloom.
There are many healthy plants covered with buds. I am looking forward to seeing all the variations to come!
none of the seeds germinated so not worth the price, however the artwork on the package is lovely.
Thank you so much for your purchase! We are sorry that you are having an issue with germinating our Mother of Pearl Poppies. We will reach out to you privately to help resolve this issue.

Mother of Pearl Poppy: Review
This spring, I planted Mother of Pearl Poppies for the very first time, and they just bloomed today (mid-August). The flower petals are delicate like crêpe paper with pale, raspberry-colored flecks on a cream background. I wish I could include a photo along with this review!
