Tree Planting with Pollinate HV - 4/25/26 - 1:30pm

Saturday April 25

1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Join us in welcoming spring by planting native trees that support threatened native pollinators!

Learn how to plant and care for bare-root trees, discover the importance of woody plants for caterpillars, bumblebees and more, and enjoy refreshments on a beautiful farm setting. Hosted by the Hudson Valley Seed Company and Partners for Climate Action.

Planting holes will be pre-dug and volunteer tasks will include planting young trees, adding tree tubes for deer protection, and spreading mulch. Participants should be comfortable navigating a working farm landscape with possible areas of uneven or muddy terrain. Kids are welcome; please no pets.

What to wear and bring: We recommend bringing a water bottle, hat, and clean gardening gloves. Please wear sturdy clothes and mud-free boots to help us prevent the spread of invasive jumping worms. Restrooms, water, and snacks will be available onsite and the farm store is open from 10am-4pm for all your spring gardening needs.

This event will take place rain or shine except in the case of extreme weather conditions. Participants will be contacted with any changes.
