Didiscus Lace Flower Mix
Trachymene coerulea
Certified Organic
These pale-blue blooms bring cottage garden charm.
Beloved by pollinators, these delicately scented, umbel-shaped blooms add softness to the landscape wherever they are sown. The profuse pale-blue to white flowers are reminiscent of Queen Anne’s Lace or Ammi, with tall, strong stems borne above attractive, deeply-lobed leaves. Didiscus easily holds its own alongside sun-loving annuals like Zinnias or Cosmos, and should be more commonplace in our gardens. Cut in bunches for the most romantic bouquets. If deadheaded regularly, this mix will continue bloom for up to two months.

Was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this lace flower. HV was one of the only seed sources offering BLUE lace flowers. Lace varieties are HARD TO GROW - they are incredibly slow starters - but once they get going - BOOM! The bloom heads are smaller than your average white or chocolate - but these unique blooms look amazing in arrangements and in my gardens - blooms last quite long - 2 weeks in a vase for me! Will be adding these to my gardens permanently - the photographs in the description are very accurate. Size of my blooms are close to half-dollar size.
