Love in a Mist
Nigella damascena
Certified Organic
Ethereal blooms and intriguing seed pods.
The feathery foliage of Love in a Mist, or nigella, creates its own climate; a clump creates a wispy, atmospheric effect. Out of the emerald vapors float jewels of quartz, sapphire, and amethyst, which give way to levitating seed pods shaped like vertical dirigibles. This plant is related to the Indian culinary and medicinal spice known as kalonji, but it has a more showy flower and seed pod. The dried seed heads can be saved and used for arrangements and crafts. Still, you may find mood-lifting healing by collecting the flowers and pods of these Persian jewels out of the misty calm.

My son and daughter in law chose seeds ( love in a mist/ bachelor buttons/wild bergamot) Art packs - along with a quote from Cicero- “if you have a garden and a library, you have everything.” - for their wedding favors.
Stunning art, perfect gift for any gardener.
Great seed and beautiful packaging!
Dreamy Nigella
These are absolutely worth growing and were a highlight of this crazy year! The foliage is pretty, the flowers are lovely, the dried seed pods are fantastic and the bees absolutely went nuts the entire season over them! Really thrilled with seedlings I didn’t expect much out of! Yay!
