Join Mara Estes with Land to Learn for a morning in the garden. Learn the techniques, tools, and activities that Land to Learn's educators use in their school garden lessons to engage students in growing food, eating fresh vegetables, and exploring the garden habitat. This workshop is geared towards educators working in settings with 5 or more children but is open to anyone interested in learning. Perfect for camp counselors, home-school educators, school teachers, and others working with children ages 5-9.
This workshop is not for children.
Mara Estes has been working in garden-based education for over 5 years and is the current Program Director for Land to Learn, a Hudson Valley-based nonprofit dedicated to growing a movement for food justice and community wellness through garden-based education.
