Down to Earth Granular Humic Acids is a highly concentrated source of humic substances. Humic acids are known for their soil building and improving capabilities. They retain water, prevent nutrient leaching, and help nutrient uptake for roots and leaves of plants. Naturally occurring, unaltered oxidized lignite, Granular Humic Acids are crushed, screened and graded to a particle size of 1-3mm.

To prepare smaller gardens, apply 1/4-1/2 cup per square foot and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil in spring or fall. To prepare larger gardens, apply 1-2 lbs. per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil in spring or fall. For new transplants, add 1 tbsp. per hole, mix into soil and water in well.
For containers: Lightly mix 1-2 tsp. per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.
