Resina Calendula Art Print ~Signed~

Gemma Bailey had a career as a fashion designer before she came to painting full time. She is influenced by art that bring in elements of both art and design, such as the work of Sophie Tauber Arp, the Wiener Werkstätte,and the Bauhaus movement. Interior design and spiritual healing arts also play a big part in how she creates her work. "I love the healing powers of the calendula flower and that it has so many therapeutic uses on the skin and nervous system. I hope I was able to convey its beauty and its delicacy. I always hope my paintings have a soothing, flowing feel but also the vibrancy of the petals of this variety are such an interesting contrast."

We print all of our pieces on archival fine art papers using archival inks to ensure they will last as contemporary heirloom art. We recommend making sure there is space between the glass and print. You can do this by matting the print or you can skip the mat and have a spacer put in the frame.
