Growing instructions
Tulips do best in full sun in northern areas, but will tolerate light shade in hotter areas. They require a well-drained soil, with an ideal pH of 6.0 to 6.5. Water in well after planting, beyond that normal rainfall should be sufficient. Tulip bulbs should be kept cool until ready to plant; and planted in fall at least a month before the ground freezes. Follow the recommended planting depth per variety

I planted these little gems in pots on my fire escape last fall and forgot about them. They came up as little surprise bursts of joy. An unexpected treasure on a cold April morning.
They are small and have more than one bloom. They would be great along the front of a bed or left to naturalize in the garden or yard.
I hope to buy more bulbs for next year.
