Effusive and crowd-pleasing red-orange blooms
A native of Mexico, Torch Tithonia grows at a slow burn until midsummer heat triggers an explosion of blooms that blaze into fall. The vibrant red-orange flowers attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. A relative of zinnias and sunflowers, this striking plant resembles both. At heights of up to 6 feet, you will understand why it is commonly called "Mexican Sunflower," but once it blooms, you will see the close relation to zinnias.
Grow this tall, showy annual in back of borders or in a mass planting for the most fiery effect.

I plant Tithonia every year to brighten up my bouquets in Sept and October.
They take up alot of space, but it worth it.
I planted the seeds directly in the ground and had great results. Gorgeous plant, over 6 feet tall, with loads of flowers and dark green leaves, a real knock-out. And the bees loved it.
Stunning artwork
We have grown many different Tithonia varietals but these are our favorite! They are tall and strong with multiple branches of gorgeous orange flowers. They are delightful!
Beautiful plant and the flowers are TRULY magnets for pollinators. Some of mt blooms, 2 huge bumblebees are enjoying the blossum!
All I have is a 5ft tall Christmas tree in full sun with no flowers. Southern NJ has great drainage. Does this plant not like holly bushes?
I am truly excited about these seeds and can't wait to plant them next spring! Love the beautiful packing!
