Peacevine Tomato
Solanum lycopersicum
Certified Organic
A prolific cherry tomato bred for flavor and crack resistance.
The Peacevine Tomato is a truly unique selection with a fittingly thoughtful origin story. Developed by Dr. Alan Kapuler of Peace Seeds, this variety was stabilized from the popular hybrid 'Sweet 100'. Its name is inspired by its high content of the amino acid GABA, which is associated with a soothing effect. These one-inch, bright crimson cherries are packed with incredible flavor—a perfect balance of sweet and tart—and are exceptionally rich in Vitamin C.
This tomato is a practical powerhouse in the summer garden. The indeterminate vines produce an astounding yield, often bearing their uniform fruits in heavy clusters of 6 to 10. Gardeners will also cheer for its remarkable resistance to cracking, which keeps the firm, juicy fruit in excellent condition. This durability contributes to the Peacevine’s excellent shelf life, allowing you to enjoy your prolific harvest far longer than many other cherry varieties, if they last that long.
