An ideal New Mexican chile for roasting for use in sauces or as a standalone side dish. Only mildly hot, at 500-2000 Scovilles, these can be substitutes for bell peppers and add a mild bit of heat to any recipe.

Growing instructions
                    
                    
                    Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Requires heat for germination; can take 10-14 days. Grow seedlings in a warm, well-lit environment; supplemental light usually required. Transplant 3 weeks after last frost in full sun.
