Cesare's Canestrino di Lucca Tomato Fine Art Print ~Signed~

Kingston, NY based painter Abbi Kenny creates saturated, materially dense compositions that reinvent traditional still-life painting. Drawing inspiration from family recipes and historical cookbooks, her colorful work explores food as a cultural artifact to reflect on personal identity, ritual, and memory.

Abbi acquired the plate that she featured in the painting during her undergraduate studies in Italy. It's from Seletti's Hybrid collection, by the designers CTRLZAK. Each piece is visually split down the middle with a colored or gold dividing line, contrasting traditional Eastern and Western ceramic motifs and styles.

Original Medium: Acrylic, molding paste, oil, glitter, and Yupo collage on canvas.

The paper dimensions are 16x20 inches to fit a standard frame. Frame pictured not included.

We print all of our pieces on archival fine art papers using archival inks to ensure they will last as contemporary heirloom art. We recommend making sure there is space between the glass and print. You can do this by matting the print or you can skip the mat and have a spacer put in the frame.
