Bonide BT Thuricide (1 quart)

Bt is the common name for Bacillus thuringiensis, a species of bacteria that makes an effective pesticide against caterpillars and worms (including the larvae of many species). It causes the demise of such pests by rupturing receptors within their digestive tracts. Other creatures lack these specific receptors, so they cannot be harmed by the product. BT is approved for use in organic growing (though, as with all additives and amendments, needs to be cleared with a certifier prior to use.)

Note that Bt is broad-spectrum and can impact any caterpillar or worm, so use carefully and only at the onset of active infestations of specific pests: cabbage worms, tomato hornworms, spongy moth caterpillars, etc.
