This tomato would be at home in the tales of Tom Thumb, the Borrowers, Stuart Little, and Mighty Mouse. It caters to refined tastes and confined spaces. These miniature plants with tiny tomatoes deliver all the bravado of a full-size slicer in small but explosive sweet-tart bites.
Happiest in containers, Tiny Tim produces copious quantities of cherry-sized sweet-tart-tangy fruits on compact little plants. The tiny 1" red tomatoes are ready early and excel in sunny window boxes, picnic table centerpieces, and pots on city stoops. Indeterminate.

Very easy to grow, perfect for an indoor hydrogarden. This is the second year growing these. Last year I had to move them into dirt in a grow bag, as they had completely outgrown the aerogarden. And they went wild! Very productive, very cute, highly recommend.
I love Tiny Tim! I started the seeds indoors, (they all germinated) then transplanted some to pots on my south facing covered porch, and others to a raised bed.
The plants were a little bigger than I expected, one was 1-1/2 feet. But the tall ones were easy to stake. And did they ever produce pretty tomatoes!! I photographed one that was about a 1-1/4 inch heart shaped specimen, a delight to the eye and my heart. Thank you for these beauties!
Easy to grow, maintenance free, and great production. I actually started these inside in an aero garden and they did fine, but didn't produce much fruit. I then transferred one outside. I didn't expect it to survive the transfer honestly, but it did and thrived in a container in my outside garden. Plenty of tomatoes on a single plant. I plan to grow them again next year in containers outside!
I share a small backyard patio in Brooklyn and only have access to containers for gardening. After a failed attempt at indeterminate cherry tomatoes last year, I gave these a go and I was so impressed! They are truly very compact - only got about 3 feet high - but a pretty high density tomato to leaf ratio for their size. My mom thinks I got more tomatoes than her ingrown garden! They are very hardy, too, and were still producing into December.
Great selection of seeds to fit your garden’s design. Little dwarf tomatoes are great to grow indoors or in pots outside.

A quick to grow, dwarf cherry tomato plant. Good for when you don't have a long time left in your growing season, or you want something before the bigger tomatoes come in. I planted in a 10 in. container and a smaller 7 in. The 10 in. is already growing fruit, but the 7 inch hasn't produced anything yet and the roots are already coming out of the bottom. I would recommend going 10 inches or larger to get enough soil volume.
