This was my first time growing garlic. I planted quite late in the fall and didn't prep my raised beds as recommended, so I wasn't expecting much, but spring rolled around and the plants immediately sprang to life. It's mid-June and I've already harvested most of the bulbs, which are of respectable size. I will definitely reorder because now I feel like some kind of garlic wizard!

The garlic from Hudson Valley Seed that we planted in my raised beds is doing great. We especially love to plant the hardneck varieties because the scapes give us two harvest from the same crop. :-)

I have been planting a garlic bed for the past 10 years. I purchased the 2lb hardneck package and have just separated the cloves prior to planting. Total 120 cloves and all look very good. Enough to fill the area designated.
I vary garlic sources periodically. These would rank with the best. Anxious to see the results next July
