Savoy leaf cabbages are generally hybrids, so we are excited to offer this heirloom green savoy this year. This variety is a large, drumhead storage cabbage. Savoy leaf cabbages are perfect for summer slaw dishes and bright in winter soups.
The heads are more open and loose than traditional European cabbage, with better, more complex flavor.
This variety is suitable for growing as a microgreen. 🌱

A long season cabbage. For earlier heads ready in late summer, sow indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Transplant healthy seedlings when there are 2 sets of true leaves, 24 inches apart. For fall harvest, start seeds 100 days before first fall frost. Cabbage requires well drained, fertile soil and plenty of water. Harvest once heads are full, heavy and solid. The size of the heads will vary.
